In light of what is read in this article by Alessandra Talarico, the real scandal is not the PRISM program that would have been created to fight terrorism, as much as the absolutely alarming fact, that the US government ask the OTT for confidential information.

Basically, the stars and stripes secret services are asking “Help”, to do espionage, ad Apple, Google, Facebook, Yahoo, Amazon and so on…

In other words, since the companies that offer all their services for free, they spy CONSTANTLY AND WITHOUT LIMITS, everything a user shares using the network, governments to ensure public order, compliance with the laws, the payment of taxes and anything else will have to make no other effort than to ask the gentlemen mentioned above to open their servers…

It seems like the plot of a film in which ICT companies and not governments are in charge…old storria , but very close to our reality!

Nobody denies the usefulness of the secret services that work to ensure security and fight against terrorism, but if this means delegating to private subjects and moved only by the logic of profit maximization, it becomes too dangerous a game…
