Why continue to be the FOLLOWER LEADER, When … we can truly INNOVATE?

This question should be asked by many, especially in Italy where yes continues to talk and often rant about innovation, without having awareness of what you are dealing with.

Some, while having such awareness, they don't care about the "substance" because the only "form" allows him to draw on energies and resources allocated to’ innovation… which in its meaning more pure and genuine, should create, without subjection, dogmas and constraints of others…

E’ common to hear "santoni and innovation guru "stuffing his mouth and keyboard with buzzword, of which they may not even know the intimate meaning, but that according to their little perceive, gives it importance and the authority they do not have, because they probably managed to successfully complete third grade through the second trimester and then…. nothingness.

By focusing on the 'Innovation IN Technology, it is evident that we are in a cul de sac ( for self-defined experts such that they may not know = impasse ), since the advent of the Internet, in the last decade of the last century, technology has been "innovated" from a few subjects all arisen in the mythical land defined " the valley of silicon " ( Silicon Valley ) that they have shaped and given the form to everything that today is intended to be a technological product commercial and industrial.

What's wrong with that?

Theoretically nothing, self this technology had the typical characteristics of solutions that they help and assist the user ( be it a natural person, company or institution ) to perform certain actions with less spending than resources and energy, in less time and more effectively.

BUT they are really these the characteristics of the current technology or there are others besides it they determine an absolutely different connotation ? ( to defend the writing, negative , but I leave to the reader and the reader the final judgment after reading and perhaps sharing some facts e points of view that I am going to describe below )

Let's make a very small one transition back in space and time, making a dutiful premise : who measures data and characteristics of any event, is then, able to study it, understand it, reproduce and optimize it or to obtain knowledge applicable in other domains, by configuring the real Progress ( alias, advantage for ALL !!!).

The required capacity so, is that of knowing and being able to measure the known variables which are able to represent any reality by going to identify and investigate also unexplained variables, at the purpose of making the model representative of the event and / or reality under study, more precise and PREDICTABLE.

Very trivially and superficially I am describing the essence of the scientific method developed by a genius like Galileo Galilei ( …I wanted to identify the originality of the source in order to avoid some self-graduating expert gurus for reading information on the internet strictly on the first page of the search results , can drink in one breath the "rewrites" by those crafty little planet who claim the essence of both innovation, than technology, but trivially they mimic and amplify what has been from others, long before them, studied and invented! )

I give an example too challenger to understand how to achieve unmatched technology such as the "crystal ball" capable of revealing the FUTURE : in meteorology to be able to measure wind speed, the temperature air and marine water masses, the percentage of humidity a various odds, and the profiles of the emerged lands, is crucial for create predictive models.

As many of us know ed have had experience, predictions may be correct but even wrong: precisely this variability is the goal to be minimize ( and maybe reset… )building more and more models complex and precise capable of measures the variables mentioned above in different points of the territory, of the atmosphere and the seas.

In other words and generalizing, being able to accurately measure the variables of a complex system allows the stylization of interacting models capable of predicting the future.

A kind of magic that there brings back to the myths of stories in which the Sorceress or the Magician, he was capable to see what no one else could see: the future.

In the computational field ( science that thanks to the computing power of computers electronic allows the resolution of complex problems in time always minors ) , guess who first hit the market with a product that materialized the first real computer commercial staff .... but yes, just him ADRIANO OLIVETTI with the Program101 o P101 o “perottina” ( the nice name donated to the instrument developed by Eng. Giorgio Perotto together to Eng. Gastone Garziera and Ing. Giovanni De Sndre under the Olivetti )…was the 1964!

THAT was the first example of anthropocentric technology, ergonomic and effective where l’ man was assisted in computational work.

The revolution resided in the fact that everyone else ( globally, including Americans ) completed computational workloads exclusively on mainframes….huge machines, energy-consuming and that they could only be used by dedicated personnel, in "White coat"….and noted the abnormal discrepancy between that which was the standard and the revolution developed in Ivrea, in America were sold on 90% of the machines produced and between "Customers" there was also NASA who used it to prepare the launch of man to the moon….in short, not really peanuts !!!!

So the first is true PERSONAL computer was Italian….then as al usual (…), it was others who launched what was a product of mass since the end of the years 70 of the last century.

The fashion of the PERSONAL computer exploded and lasted throughout the 1980s, 1990s and the early years of the new millennium until it was "decided" that it was time of "SMART Technology" and "CLOUD" ( romantic word ed ephemeral to simply represent someone's computers other… )

I wrote in capital letters the adjectives that define the evolution of technology computational because it is in the semantics of these that it is possible understand and note not only the "change of course", from an economy based on the pushed consumerism of the tools for computation where the data was and remained the exclusive property of the user, to data economy, but also the strategy behind it : from hw market oligopolists, to monopolists of the “spheres of crystal ”in all sectors ( from the commercial, to the politician, to the social, to the doctor, to the industrialist, to the institutional etc. etc. ).

E’ interesting to note also from the point of view of communication and impacts on society, with the advent of SMART tech. linked to the CLOUD are born, SOCIAL platforms proliferate and thrive are that tools to collect data trawling and with them is born all PROPAGANDA based on such a noble verb, how abused : TO SHARE.

…I get chills a think of how this communication is instrumental in collecting data, married with childish enthusiasm by media ed institutions, has shaped the new generations used a "Share" everything about their life, sui social…. meat from slaughterhouse, unconscious…

Now let's get to the heart of the problems of THIS TECHNOLOGY : we project the myth of the sphere of crystal to industrial espionage, to cross profiling , to misleading advertising and all’ watering down of sovereignty of democratically established states….. so much steals, I know, but if you will have patience in reading by joining the dots you will get an image…to judge yourself whether it is acceptable or not!

Including that to know it is necessary to measure, then collect DATA, then it is useful to know interpret such data to make decisions and choices "Rational".

If this mechanism were aimed at increasing the well-being of many ( maybe based on the Optimal Paretian concept…the "gurus" maybe think of the building a wall, but this is not the case … ) , no problem….the knot comes to a head when the’ goal is much more selfishly and anachronistically, to dominate over others through cognitive / competitive / technological advantages, naturally without direct efforts in research and innovation, but focused to know EVERYTHING others do to "sniff" them their information, their secrets, their results painstakingly achieved, but “useful” to maximize certain models of business based on continuous growth .... cancer does the same, causing the death of the organism….these just don't they want to understand….

In Europa, we know it very well what can happen when someone thinks they can decide always and in any case for everyone….we have already given and we want a future democratic and different for everyone!

The biggest danger is DO NOT feel it….and if we continue to endorse a technology simply engineered to collect data in a continuous and unlimited in order to complete the profiling crossed to feed digital twins of any event, domain, phenomenon and entity, biological, physics, energy and thought, we are ending up in the mouth of the crocodile that not even will shed tears…if you keep them for other uses….

Therefore, which would it be this danger : who knows everything .... everything commands!

How to protect yourself from everything that is?

Simply by becoming aware that all the "smart" technology linked to the "cloud" it has the sole purpose of spying on us.

Understood this, it is necessary make a deep and quick analysis and arrive at one conclusion:

It is worth continuing to "Innovate" on unique paradigms developed to spy on everything e all?

It is worth continuing to make our minds work, our researchers and ours creatives to write APP codes for technological ecosystems engineered to spy?

It is worth continuing to invest to strengthen EXOGENOUS technology ( all’Europa) which is weakening the democratic and civil foundations of our countries and is enslaving our companies to controlled algorithms e controllable by "third parties" who have already amply demonstrated be what is furthest away from fair competition mechanisms, And transparent advertising?

It is worth leaving to our children a deformed future based on aberrated dynamics ed aberrant in which individuals are data cows to be squeezed through all that is commercial technology and to be piloted through social platforms?

It is worth allowing this technology to profile and classify us and our children in order to discriminate access to products and services on principles sick of profit maximization?

It is worth continuing to investing in this old technology, obsolete, unfair, energy-consuming and no longer sustainable ?

( for anyone who had doubts, I strongly urge you to independently investigate it Cambridge Analytica scandal, the sanctions imposed on the OTT for misleading advertising and unfair competition, and the continuing scandals on the "happy" management of OTHER data…. without neglecting that even Europe "woke up" by fine-tuning the Digital Market Act and the Digital Service Act as a REACTION to a technology INCOMPATIBLE with the principles and rights enshrined in ours constitutions and also reaffirmed in the GDPR

In light of these facts and considerations we really just want to chase or we want anticipate the future?

And what in concrete terms we can do it immediately?

Simple: COME BACK TO TRULY INNOVATE and rethink technology from scratch not only with "Privacy by design e Privacy by default “But with a monolithic and unscratchable principle : no LOYALTY.

Why is it about this principle that a transparent relationship can be built, collaborative and prolific with the end user ( persona, company e institution ) aware and involved in the creation process e sharing of the added value resulting from the exchange of useful information on the data market and oriented to create PROGRESS, or advantage for all.

We are able to think, engineer and produce TECHNOLOGY FAIR for everyone because the whole world deserves a DIFFERENT future where the wealth that comes from the data and knowledge economy, is truly DISTRIBUTED and not a monopoly of a few and their followers enslaved to a laid and merely predatory logic…
