ComputArte at the ICFF New York fair 2013

Cybertec Services Srl partecipa all’ICFF di New York from the 18 al 21 May 2013 with the Project ComputArte.

ICFF, New York furniture fair, it is the most important showcase of interior design, furnishing accessories, North American lighting and finishing materials.

At the stand organized by the Agency for Internationalization S.C.p.A.. of the Rome Chamber of Commerce, there is a ComputArte workstation with which it demonstrates itself as the furnishing personal computer, with high computational power, placed in the living room, allows the user to control a functional dashboard visible on the TV with wireless connection with gestures and voice.

The innovative approach allows a simpler and more intuitive use of technology, thanks to a clear graphical interface on the TV, both for classic functions ( social network, telephone calls via internet with skype or similar programs, searches on the net, Traditional TV, private content such as photos or movies, games ), and for home automation functions .

L’ICFF, although it is not characterized as an event for technology producers, shows how much the furniture sector, and in general the house, are still market segments not yet permeated by technology, despite the fact that home automation has been offered for over 30 years.

Inside the house, where you spend quality time, it is paradoxical to see how everything still is , o qausi, analog, with the presence of fragmented and pulverized technologies that do not have the possibility to dialogue and make life easier.
