In this article in lingua inglese, the German Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich has clearly told : ” who fear that their communications could be intercepted in some way, should use the services that do not pass through the U.S. servers”.
Clearly this statement is framed in the scandal disruptive Datagate Prism which sees the revelations of Edward Snowden ensure a systematic espionage of all the information that flows through the network .
The Germania, as well as France , is, not mince words, pointing the finger on the American system and all OTT stars and stripes that hold most of the traffic generated by individuals and businesses.
We are at a historical crossroads, dove alcuni stati Europei si stanno svegliando dal pericoloso sonno indotto da una tecnologia sempre più invasiva e sempre più subdola, diventando consapevoli che questa crisi economica passa anche per la perdita di competitività indotta da chi compete slealmente sul mercato, produce pubblictà ingannevole e non paga tasse nei territori dove genera un enorme reddito.
In Italia siamo sempre un gran bel fanalino di coda, seppur qualcuno dei rappresentanti politici inizia ad “alzare la cresta” borbottando qualche cosa sullo scandalo ( già ampiamente conosciuto ) di Prism.
Considerando che Francia e Germania stanno correndo ai ripari iniziando a proporre una tssa agli OTT , sembra che non ci stiano più a rimanere inermi allo strapotere di questi soggetti e che vogliano addirittura progettare una rete alternativa…
Intanto tutto quello che è “cloud” subirà un sensibile ridimensionamento, benchè i profeti di questo paradigma continuino a predicare ( senza delle vere prove ) i risparmi sulla infrastruttura e l’aumento di efficienza (….forse di chi spierà i dati senza più nemmeno infrangere le leggi europee e locali perchè non dovrà fare altro che aprire le cartelle, falsamente criptate, sui server fuori dall’europa…)!!!
