Datagate Prism: Kroes warns about using the cloud!
In this article del Corriere delle Comunicazioni, receiving a message that the European Commissioner Neelie Kroes that sounds like a cold shower for American companies that would like to make the cloud, the new panacea of the world!
The thought is linear: if citizens and European companies feel threatened by what inquiries concerning the data you want to keep confidential ( as a sacred right enshrined in Europe ) , will no longer use the services offered by American and!
Clear and strong message, without a shadow of doubt!
And disastrous economic consequences for suppliers Stars and Stripes!
By now the case has been confirmed, ma ancora molti sembra non essersi resi conto e continuano a parlare di risparmi ed ottimizzazioni di una infrastruttura cloud, senza valutare un fatto incontrovertibile: quando i dati sono usciti dalla propria azienda o pc, non si sa più dove sono e non si ha certezza che rimangano riservati!
Se il cloud fosse offerto con una polizza assicurativa che coprisse il furto e lo spionaggio dei dati, probabilmente sarebbe più facile iniziare a valutarlo!
Senza escludere una clausola fondamentale: che i server siano ben IDENTIFICATI, ma sopratutto geolocalizzati nel territorio dove vige una legge per la protezione perentoria dei dati ( in Europa)….tutto il resto è NOIA! ( Grande Califfo!)
