Tagad, “klasiskās uzņēmējdarbības modeļus” pamatojoties uz pc ražošanu un Windows OS ir krīze, Microsoft diferencējot mārketinga stratēģiju, cerot atgūšanas zemes pret konkurentiem ( Apple un Google ). Viens no nākamā tirgus kaujas ir dzīvojamā istaba, un šeit Microsoft ir pionieris izmantot Kinect tehnoloģijas balss un žestu atzīšanu. Xbox Viens būs rumbas baudīt daudzas saturu , kas tiks offerd visas ražotājs, kas spēj, lai būtu spēcīga klātbūtne internetā. Exept par ietekmīgu grafisko vienību , šī ierīce ir , more or less a standard PC ( much less poewrfull of a mainstream , upper level PC ).

The convergence which will distinguish the XBox One will open a vergin market for new apps to be enjoyed not in mobility but in the living room.
