EXPO 2015 – CNR-IIA and ComputArte: the electronic nose for wine
The next 27 May 2015 the technologies developed by the CNR for the traceability of the vine-wine supply chain will be presented at the Italian Pavilion EXPO Milan.
In a sector where Italy excels, food fraud is consumed where wine is among the most affected products.
The global market is flooded with food and drink passed off as Italian , which are actually produced abroad, without any guarantee of quality which is certain in our products.
New technologies that penetrate into the structure of the material can identify unique elements to certify the origin and quality of the food product.
Specifically, it was developed by CNR-IIA a “Electronic Nose” capable of distinguishing unique identifying elements of high quality Italian wine.
ComputArte has collaborated with the CNR-IIA for the construction of the enclosure containing the olfactory technology developed.
This is the presentation of the event.
