By reading this article ( #Prism, Vincenzo Scotti (Link University): 'Our University and Research Centers support the action of Alliance for the Internet' ) published on Key4Biz, you realize it as a scandal ( …actually full-blown for some time!!! ) no longer celabile, brings to public attention a series of “alfieri” of the truth that they proclaim their opposition to a system that tramples on the rights of the individual and the community, in terms of confidentiality.
But where were they, when legislation was made to protect the rights of European citizens ( and Italians )?
Where are the institutions to check that there are no abuses of the written and ratified regulations?
Where are the supervisory bodies that must impose sanctions on those who do not respect the rules?
Where are the perpetrators who should have prevented and sanctioned illicit behavior, abusive and illegitimate multinationals that act in defiance of all local and European laws and that help such unfair subjects to amplify unfair competition by sanctioning, instead, only European legal entities having their seat in any of the Community countries?
But this is only the tip of the iceberg….
Spying on behaviors, customs and habits and topics of conversation , in reality, it aims to control dynamics and minds to compete unfairly through stolen strategic information!
Everyone would be able to grind billions of dollars in profit if they were able to spy on all the parameters that allow advertising to be driven, to sell services and information , Moreover, without paying a cent of tax in the jurisdictions where they operate without declaring a local registered office, and above all a local VAT number which configures a permanent establishment operating in the area.
The defense of personal data is not just a matter of principle, but a cornerstone to be defended strenuously to allow our economy and our companies to compete on a true basis of meritocracy that rewards those who have the best vision of the market and offer quality products and services…WITHOUT CHOKING!
