Gentili Sig. On. Daniele Capezzone,
Sig.ra On. Sandra Savino and
Sig. On. Pietro Laffranco with regret, disappointment and anger I have read of your attempt to block and delete what has been called, wrongly, web tax.
From journalistic sources I learned that you have tabled an amendment to delete precisely those articles relating to transparency for advertising and the obligation to open a VAT number for those subjects, not Europeans, operating in Italy ( selling advertising and services to citizens and local operators, regarding goods and services that can be purchased in the area ).
I invite you to extrapolate the concept of permanent establishment, unfair competition and misleading advertising.
Did you ever know this amendment would be able to repeal the web-tax proposal, it would be a stab at Italian citizens and companies.
But do you realize that this nefarious event would protect the interests of companies that increase their power thanks to the fact that they are competing unfairly on the market and without paying the right taxes..
Why should a non-European subject remain invisible from a legal and fiscal point of view?!
Why a European company does not grow like OTTs?!
…have you ever thought about the fact that those who do not pay taxes, enriches itself and invests by buying the best technologies, appropriating it without having competed on equal terms with other companies?!
But who are you representing?! ….Italians and Italian companies, or someone else?!
And if ever there was an objective legal element that prevented the legal and fiscal equation of European companies with non-European ones operating in Europe, why don't you make it public and accessible to everyone?!Do you ever know your feedback on the matter, it will be carefully analyzed and shared publicly
